"Be the Change You Wish to See in the World" - Gandhi
Santuario de las Lajas - This Cathedral was built over a River Gorge in Ipiales, Southern Colombia. The original cathedral was begun in the 1700s after a woman passing through the region to visit her family saw an image of the Virgin appear on a stone wall. The church was built around the image to preserve it in its original location.

I'm 29 years old, and have lived in Virginia, Chicago, Michigan, Los Angeles, and now Honduras over the last 10 years. I´m about 6 months away from finishing my volunteer service with Peace Corps. I have truly enjoyed working as a municipal development volunteer and fulfilling a long overdue dream of traveling and working internationally, learning a new language, and using my experience in urban design for public service...Life continues to be challenging and exciting with every new year...im looking forward to the thirties, travelling´after my service, and moving back home to the states...

Hola Stephanie .Te saluda Carlos Nolasco (Esperanzano ,Hondureno) ,.Tu no me conoces pero me gusta mucho tu espiritu aventurero y humanitario ,te agradesco mucho por eso y por esas fotos de Amerca Latina,a mi mi gusto mucho la de el ferrocarril y la de "El Santuario De Las Lajas". Vivo Cerca de Miami,Fl ,pero viajo mucho a Honduras me gustaria conocer esos lugares que tu visitaste .Gracias!!
