Somewhere along the hike the other day, I noticed that the rain was about to set in...the sky grew dark and the clouds covered over us...and then all of a sudden the clouds opened up and through an opening in the sky, we could see across to the next mountain range where the sun was still shining...this is one of the photos I captured in that moment.

I'm 29 years old, and have lived in Virginia, Chicago, Michigan, Los Angeles, and now Honduras over the last 10 years. I´m about 6 months away from finishing my volunteer service with Peace Corps. I have truly enjoyed working as a municipal development volunteer and fulfilling a long overdue dream of traveling and working internationally, learning a new language, and using my experience in urban design for public service...Life continues to be challenging and exciting with every new year...im looking forward to the thirties, travelling´after my service, and moving back home to the states...
