Literally translated...the Fair honoring our Patron Saint, the Virgin of Pains...who appeared to a preist some years ago and gave La Paz its name...now we honor her with cotton candy, parades, and deep fried potatoes...amongst other festivities!!! Here are some of my favorites...

I'm 29 years old, and have lived in Virginia, Chicago, Michigan, Los Angeles, and now Honduras over the last 10 years. I´m about 6 months away from finishing my volunteer service with Peace Corps. I have truly enjoyed working as a municipal development volunteer and fulfilling a long overdue dream of traveling and working internationally, learning a new language, and using my experience in urban design for public service...Life continues to be challenging and exciting with every new year...im looking forward to the thirties, travelling´after my service, and moving back home to the states...
